Welcome to Immunaeon. To provide and improve our client sample collection process, sample analyses, storage services, future advancements and collaboration, our offices, our website, our mobile applications, and customer services (collectively our "Services"), we collect, process, and store Personal Information. Personal Information is information that can identify you directly or indirectly, including your name, address, email address, and information carrying your name, including your samples and any reports generated about it that carry your name, including Genetic Information.
This Terms of Service & Privacy Statement describes our practices for collecting, analyzing, communicating, storing, and processing your Personal Information, the steps we take to keep it private and secure, and your rights to control and manage your own Personal Information. Information about deceased persons is not Personal Information under this Statement.
The Services include blood sample collection by a phlebotomist or other equally accredited health care professional, isolation of immune cells, cryopreservation and storage of isolated immune cells, and analysis. The Services are provided "as is" and are based on the current state of cell isolation and cryopreservation technology in use by Immunaeon at the time of purchase. Immunaeon may stop providing some Services, permanently or temporarily, at its sole discretion, without prior notice. You may stop using the Services at any time.
Immunaeon also reserves a portion of your sample for potential future analyses and use, as described in your Informed Consent.
Immunaeon is not a health provider. We do not diagnose or treat any health conditions. Immunaeon enables individuals to have a sample of their blood, including cells from their own immune system, drawn, analyzed, and stored for their potential future use.
The information provided by Immunaeon is for research, informational, and educational use only. The Services are not intended to be used by the customer for any diagnostic purpose and are not a substitute for professional medical advice. Use of Immunaeon Services does not create a doctor-patient relationship. You should always seek the advice of your physician or other health care provider with any questions regarding diagnosis, treatment, or the status of your health.
You should not change your health behaviors solely on the basis of information from Immunaeon. For most common conditions, the factors we know about are only responsible for a small fraction of overall risk; there may be unknown genetic, environmental, or lifestyle factors that matter more. If your data indicates you are not at elevated risk, you should not feel protected; if it indicates elevated risk, it does not mean you will develop the condition. In either case, discuss any concerns with your physician.
When you create an account, you provide Personal Information including your name, email address, street address, billing information, a baseline medical history questionnaire, and account credentials. Access to Immunaeon's storage and analytics services includes a blood draw, from which we isolate biologic material for initial analysis, cytometry testing, and storage.

De-identified data and materials are not considered Personal Information under this Statement. Your identifiable Genetic Information will never be used or sold to third parties without your prior written consent, and is never shared with insurance companies, employers, or third-party marketers without your express consent.
Immunaeon does not share or sell your individually identifiable information, including Genetic Information, without your prior written informed consent, except as described in this Statement. We do not voluntarily share your information with law enforcement.

Immunaeon retains your identifiable biologic material, biometric data, and DNA to provide the Services until you close your account and request deletion or destruction. Where samples are stored at a laboratory partner required to retain samples for a minimum period under CLIA/CAP guidelines or state law, they will be retained accordingly (typically at least seven years, or per your chosen storage term of up to 10 years or indefinitely, per your Informed Consent).
De-identified biologic material and data are not considered Personal Information and may be retained, used, or sold by Immunaeon for lawful purposes, including research.

If you have agreed to our Informed Consent to Research, we may not be able to remove Genetic Data or DNA already included in active or completed research projects, but we will not use it for any new research projects going forward.
The laboratory may be unable to process your sample, or the process may result in errors. If initial processing fails, Immunaeon will reprocess the same sample at no charge; if a second attempt fails, we will collect a third sample at no charge. If subsequent attempts are unsuccessful, Immunaeon will not collect an additional sample, and the customer is entitled to a full refund of amounts paid.
Loss, damage, or contamination of your sample may occur during transit or storage; if so, Immunaeon will collect a second sample at no charge. Analytical data is for research, informational, and educational use only, and use of Immunaeon Services does not create a doctor-patient relationship.
